Counseling Ministry
The Counseling Ministry at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church comprises paraprofessionals trained in biblical counseling to help believers through prayerful submission to the Holy Spirit.
Our purpose and our mission is to come alongside believers to guide, equip, support and comfort, admonish out of love and encourage the believer while helping them relate God’s truths to their lives.
Our spiritual imperatives are:
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
Galatians 6:1-2
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. (ESV)
