Psalm 1Read By: Melanie Quinton10-1-23Psalm 1:1-6 “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.” May the Lord lead you to the path of the godly; and not the path of destruction! For the past four days I have been drawing closer to the Lord, Jesus. I have been at Heartland Great Banquet #78 and I wanted to have something prepared for you while I was gone. One of the things you give up for 72 hours is: phone, computer, time, and your agenda. I didn’t want to leave for several days without making sure the podcast, devotional, texts and such went on. It takes intentionality to prepare all of this ahead to be sent in my absence by scheduling them at certain times. I tell you this to tell you one thing. You are important to me! And you are important to God! Have a blessed day!Melanie QuintonPrayer Warrior/Devotional Writer
