Our Committees
The social justice arm of the Ministry consists of several attorneys and committees that address the most pressing problems affecting at-risk communities and strategize actions to resolve those issues in a Christian manner. Here’s what we’re working on.
The Education Committee
The Education Committee is focusing on helping families who are part of Good Hope and who require assistance. The Committee has developed a listing of educational resources for families. CLICK HERE!
The Financial Education And Economic Education Committee
The F.E.E.E. Committee is currently working on an online Good Hope Business Directory consisting of the business owners and practitioners within the Good Hope MBC family that we may support as consumers. We are also highlighting black-owned businesses on social media on an ongoing basis.
The Political Action/Public Policy Committee
The Committee is also working on a voter registration information and education program, plans to provide Candidate Platform information for voters, plans to assist those in Harris County Jail to become registered voters and follow-up with them after their release.
The Social Media Committee
The Committee is utilizing social media to publicize the activities and events of the Ministry and its Committees.
The Youth Action Committee
The Committee members are scheduled to meet to discuss youth activities.
