The primary purpose of the Benevolence Ministry at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church is to help meet financial and physical needs in a manner that brings glory to God and supplements the church’s mission to make more and better followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. This ministry is responsible for studying the requests for need and respond appropriately, always seeking to enhance the Kingdom of God. Any one requesting assistance must be willing to receive biblical financial, family, or emotional counseling.
A secondary purpose is to provide formal and informal financial counseling to assist people to use material resources in a way that pleases God.
